Our Fourth of July was rained out this year. We still had fun, in spite of the rain. A nice relaxing day with family. By evening it had cleared up enough to put on our own fireworks show while the kids caught lightening bugs.
This weekend, our town declared a 4th of July Re-do. And Jason’s sister and kids were here to celebrate with us. We took in the parade, we had family over for lunch, the kids spent the afternoon playing on the slip ‘n slide, then we all stayed up to enjoy the fireworks show. It wasn’t our typical all-out celebration, but a fun day nonetheless.
